Development version Basketball Playbook
On this page you can download the latest development version of the playbook program, installation and use of this version is at your own risk.
Installation
First check your current version by checking the about box (Help - About). Then check the changes list below to see if there is something you like to try.
Download the exe file below.
Install the beta program by running the setup program.
Do not install into you current program folder for basketball playbook 008.
Start the program, if it doesn't do what you expected remove it.
Comments are welcome, please check the Submit a Play page for the address, and state which version, which OS, which printer etc.
On the 7th of February we stopped adding new functions to the next version of the basketball playbook program.
We call this 009-alpha-1, no new functions will be added until version 009 is released.
After completing the alpha testing, which will end when 1 complete cycle of regression testing is finished whithout major problems,
a closed beta test will begin.
16-May, the closed beta test has ended and the open beta test started.
31-July, Basketball playbook 009 will be released soon, beta test ended.

Changes for version 009
There is a play list tab, plays can be added and removed from the play list, printed or exported to HTML and PDF.
2 new player symbols, a square and a pop (taken from the water polo playbook, a circle with "arms").
Undo and Redo in the Edit Drawing tab.
Multiple select on the Edit Drawing tab.
Auto placement of players, Edit Drawing tab.
Shorter 3-point line.
Edit polygon, extended the color options.
Edit lines, change of line type.
Edit player, font color can be changed, text up to 3 characters.
Edit text, border around the text, with or without filled background.
The ball is almost always on top.
Nudging of selected players with the arrow keys.
Export of a complete category to PDF, HTML, a backup file.
Improved e-mail function.
Antialias on exported images.
SHIFT-CTRL-I will copy a double size sketch to the clipboard.
The printing functions have changed.
Richtext export in the PDF's.
A play can be exported to animated gif or a flash movie (note: this is not using flash in a very smart way, but the result is good).
Changing the logo for export is easier now.
This is not a complete list, a lot of smaller things have changed as well.
Basketball Playview
This is a little program to view basketball playbook plays.
A short list of its features.
It can be used to view one play at a time (animated).
It doesn't use temporary files, can be run from a CD.
You can associate the *.ebp extension with this program.
